Get ready to elevate your Keto journey to a whole new level because I’m about to introduce you to something truly extraordinary — the Keto version of Egg Pizza.
Who said you couldn’t enjoy delicious food while following a Keto lifestyle? Today, I’m going to share with you a simple and genius recipe that will leave you amazed. And trust me, if I can cook it, anyone can!
Now, hold on to your seat because the base of this Keto Egg Pizza is going to blow your mind. Can you guess what I used? It’s a combination of psyllium husk powder, eggs, and Amul Cheese cubes.
Yes, you heard that right! These three ingredients come together to create a flavorful and satisfying pizza base that perfectly fits your Keto lifestyle.
The best part? You won’t have to spend hours in the kitchen. In just ten minutes, you can have this pizza ready to devour. And here’s the cherry on top—each serving, which is equivalent to two delicious slices, contains only 1g net carb. How amazing is that?
Things to keep in mind:
I have used an electric tandoor for the final baking, but you can easily bake it in a microwave or even on a grill pan at low heat. For the pizza sauce, I have used Chings Schezwan Stir Fry Sauce. You can use any tomato based low-carb sauce, or even homemade tomato purée.
For the topping, I have used 50gms of chicken sausage and Amul Mozarella cheese. You can use any cheese and feel free to have it as a Margarita pizza or add any topping of your choice. The nutrition break up at the end is exclusive of the values of chicken.
On the whole, the pizza was easy to make, it was satisfying and very filling. I couldn’t have more than two slices. The only change that I might make next time, would be to reduce an egg and probably use only two cheese cubes, in order to get a more crispy base.
Some people might say that even after being fully Keto adapted, I long for food from the other side. But that’s not true, I am determined to eat good food and enjoy life to the fullest on the Keto lifestyle.
Ten Minute Indian Keto Pizza Recipe
Equipment
- Bowl
- Grinder
- Pan
- Teaspoons
- baking tray
- Oven
- grater
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Psyllium Husk powder- Telephone Brand
- 3 medium Eggs
- 1 tsp Oregano
- ½ tsp Rosemary
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- Salt to taste
For frying and topping
- 5 tsp or 1.5 tbsp Coconut oil
- 50 g Amul Pizza Mozarella Cheese
- 4 tsp Priya’s Keto Tomato Ketchup
- 5 0 gms Chicken Sausage
Instructions
- Grate the Amul Cheese Cube in a bowl.
- Grind the psyllium husks to a fine powder in the grinder.
- Now add the oregano, rosemary, salt, and pepper to the psyllium husk powder.
- Now add the oregano, rosemary, salt, and pepper to the psyllium husk powder.
- Add the grated cheese cubes and the eggs to the mixer.
- Mix all the ingredients for thirty seconds so that the psyllium husks gets an opportunity to soak up the liquid
- While the batter for the crust is getting ready, keep a pan ready.
- Ensure that the pan is super hot and add three teaspoons of coconut oil to it.
- My batter was very soft and workable. I oiled my hands with the rest of the oil and made a ball out of it.
- I flattened out the dough in my hand, until it resembled a pizza base. It could easily qualify for a deep-dish pizza crust.
- I placed the dough on the hot pan and allowed it to cook for about two minutes on high heat.
- Turn the pizza base and continue to cook on high heat for another two minutes.
- While the base is cooking keep a baking tray ready by oiling it. Switch on your tandoor and allow it to get hot.
- Transfer the base to the baking tray.
- Apply the keto tomato sauce. Spread the topping and cover it with half the mozzarella cheese.
- Place the pizza in the oven and let it cook for five to seven minutes, until the cheese starts boiling.
- Now take out the pizza and sprinkle the rest of the cheese and place the pizza back in the oven for another three to five minutes.
- Once the cheese becomes golden, take out the pizza, cut it into slices and enjoy.

One of the simplest and most traditional pizzas is the Margherita, which is topped with tomatoes or tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil. Popular legend relates that it was named for Queen Margherita, wife of Umberto I, who was said to have liked its mild fresh flavour and to have also noted that its topping colours—green, white, and red—were those of the Italian flag — Britannica Encyclopedia.

Hi
What vegetables can we replace with the chicken sausage to keep the macros intact here?
Great recipe, great page… I could bring myself to start a keto diet only after seeing this website. Thank you!
Priya Dogra
Veggies cannot replace sausage, as that’s a protein. But you can replace it with paneer or tofu. But you can definitely use broccoli, mushrooms, capsicum. Thank you for your kind words. All the best to you!

Thank you!

Hi Priya,Treid your pizza yesterday, very tasty but had to modify your recipe.I used 2 eggs @700gr each,(couldn’t work out what was a cude of amul cheese)40 gr feta cheese,2 tbsp psyllium husk (how may tbspoons do you get after grinding your PH) .The batter was too runny ( maybe size of eggs) so I added another tbsp of PH whci made it more workable, still couldn’t make a dough like you did so just spooned it out in the pan and spread it out as much as I could .
Base was very soft more like an omelette but very tasty.
Priya Dogra
Hi. Amul cheese is processed cheese. Next time, try with Parmesan cheese. 2 eggs @700gm? Are you sure about that? I used medium eggs for it. And initially it does look and taste like an omelet. But once you bake it in an oven, it resembles the crust of a pizza. Glad you enjoyed.
Julie
What is gm wt of the cubes of Amul cheese for crust?
Priya Dogra
You could use Parmesan cheese instead. A cube of Amul Cheese is about 30 grams.

The recipe sounds good, except I’m not familiar with the ingredients or keto. What is Psyllium Husk and Amul Cheese? I’m all for quick meals too.
Priya Dogra
Hi psyllium husk is very rich in fibre and nutrition, white. Amul cheese is an Indian cheese brand, you can substitute it with Parmesan cheese.

Priya, you are day by day getting me very interested in this style of Cooking. I have never heard of Psyllium though and wouldn’t know where to find it!
Priya Dogra
Hey, it’s easily available, that’s the global name for it. It’s high on fibre and low on carbs.

Now this looks like even I can do it. Love pizza, and love the ingredients here. Will give it a try!

What an ingenious and eclectic mix of ingredients. Looks and sounds amazing. And it sounds like it is relatively easy to make and enjoy in a short amount of time. Thanks for sharing, as I never would have thought of using psyllium husks in the way you have, Priya. Enjoy!
Priya Dogra
Thanks so much, I was surprised at the final dish myself. ?

Awesome idea. But what is Amul Cheese and what would be a great alternative if I can not find it?
Priya Dogra
Hi Amul Cheese is a brand of Indian processed cheese. You can try the recipe with Parmesan Cheese. Parmesan is not easily available in India and is very expensive too.
