My name is Shreya, a 30-year-old working woman from Delhi. My downfall began with an insidious addiction to chocolates and pizzas, complemented by a large bottle of Diet Coke that I used to consume on everyday basis after school. I had no concept of balanced meals, protein, or the existence of “good” fats. I was only enjoying my bad food habits, and that gradually increased my weight.
It was only later that I realized the impact of my weight extended far beyond my physical appearance. By the time I understood this, it was already too late.
