Keto Bread Recipe
Equipment
- Grinder
- Blender
- Microwave
- Tin
- Bowl
Ingredients
- 90 g Slivered Almonds
- 4 Eggs
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 30 g Weikfield baking powder
Instructions
- Grind the almonds in a blender, until they resemble a fine powder.
- Separate the egg whites and yolks.
- Separate the egg whites and yolks.
- Melt the butter in the microwave.
- Start by beating the egg whites in the blender.
- When they form thick peaks, add the egg yolks to it.
- Beat some more and add the grounded almonds and baking powder.
- Keep beating and add the butter.
Add the butter
- Beat for another ten minutes till nice and fluffy.
- Line a baking tin with melted butter. Pour this batter in the tin.
- Bake at 200 degrees Celcius for 30 minutes. Check if done. I baked it for another 10 minutes at 180 degrees, to give it a nice golden colour.

Can we use almond flour instead. I also feel that there will be an eggy taste to the bread, can we use just egg whites and xanthum gum, if yes please mention the quantity.

I have never cooked with xanthan gum, so I won’t be able to help you on that. But yes, you can bake with just egg whites and 1 full egg.

You should avoid be putting the eggs in the blender. Mixing eggs at high speed destroys the protein.
