Wednesday Keto Diet Plan & Recipes

Today I have brought Wednesday Keto Diet Plan. Indian food recipes are quite adaptable, and the meal consistently tastes great. The abundant use of spices and herbs makes it one of the most famous cuisines in the world.

Starting to follow basic rules was easy for me. For me it’s easy. By replacing and substituting a few components, Indian cuisine can be keto-friendly.

It tastes a little different. That’s ok; keep the indulgence for cheat days.

I share my version of Butter Chicken, or Murg Makhani, for the Wednesday Keto Diet Plan, as called in some circles.

First things first, let’s start with breakfast.

Breakfast Ideas:

Omelette with Cheese + Smoked Bacon

Ingredients:

Process:

  1. Whisk the eggs with salt and pepper.
  2. Now add the herbs, mushrooms, and green chili to the eggs.
  3. On a hot pan, put some ghee, and pour the egg mixture on it.
  4. On a cooked omelet, shred the cheese and fold it.
  5. Cook and get the desired color. I prefer mint chutney.

Smoked Bacon

Bacon is a very keto-friendly food item. As it has carbs, proteins, and fats in the perfect keto ratio. It is easy to cook and gives you immense satisfaction too. You can add the bacon to the filling or have it on the side.

Lunch Idea:

Parboiled Cauliflower with Mayo

Ingredients:

Process

  1. Boil the cauliflower for about ten minutes in water.
  2. Add some salt to the water.
  3. Now strain the cauliflower and toss it in butter, salt, and pepper.
  4. You can have the florets like this or mix them with homemade sugarless mayo.

Mayo 1 tbsp

Mutton Seekh Kebab

You might think I mention mutton seekh kebabs daily, and I admit I do. And they are pretty keto-friendly. Try making this recipe at home.

Snack Idea-

Peanuts Oil roasted and Salted

For those of you who have never tried peanuts Indian style, I plead with you to grab a packet from the closest Indian store.

Some Ketoites are not snacking at all, and I must say that’s commendable. In the evening, Indians have a ritual of sitting with their parents, kids, or friends to discuss their days over a cup of tea and some food. Eat with your macros.

Dinner Ideas:

Keto Butter Chicken/Murg Makhani

Yes, you heard it right. One of my fellow Wednesday Keto Diet Plan members had asked to modify the recipe for the world-famous Butter Chicken, and I am glad to oblige with mine.

Ready for your kitchen to smell of India, with spices like cumin, cardamom, and garam masala. The gravy of this chicken is heavenly, and it will force you to lick it off the spoon and the bowl. Butter makes this dish more tasty.

My Keto trick for this dish is to replace the cream with coconut milk. You get HWC where you live; please go ahead and use it. The spices mellow down the dish to a whole new level. This dish requires tender chicken thighs, which melt in your mouth once cooked. Vegetarians don’t need to fret; you can make cottage cheese or paneer by the same recipe.

The secret to success lies in the marinade and the technique. You need to marinate the chicken in buttermilk or Greek yogurt to allow the enzymes to break up and make the meat tender. Make butter chicken in huge quantities and enjoy it for a few days.

Ingredients:

Cooking Process:

  1. Combine the chicken pieces, garlic, ginger paste, salt, red chili powder, and yogurt. Let it sit in the refrigerator for two to three hours.
  2. Now take a wok and melt the butter in it. Crushed a cinnamon stick and cardamom in it.
  3. Add the tomato purée and stir it; lower the heat.
  4. Add the cumin powder, coriander paste, and the garam masala.
  5. Add coconut milk or cream, and simmer for a few minutes. Add food coloring to look red.

Just writing about Butter Chicken is making my gastronomical juices. I think I’ll cook a batch for myself tomorrow.

I signed off today on a positive note. Looking forward to encouraging more mommies like myself and possibly making a difference in the broad realm of fitness.
