I’m here again with another easy-to-make keto recipe to enhance the flavor of your Indian meals. One of my favorite ways to make the keto diet interesting is to give a keto twist to classic recipes. This time I am going to share with you my Flax Seeds Raita recipe. It is easy to prepare and full of healthy fats, flavor, and fiber content. This makes it ideal to pair with your keto Indian meals.
Flax seeds are loaded with nutrition, as they are loaded with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and lignans. Hence, these are the perfect addition to any keto meal plan. You can enjoy it with my Creamy Paneer Makhani or Keto Coconut Flour Flatbread recipes, or any other Indian recipes of your choice. Whether you want to eat something refreshing or seeking a way to cool down spicy Indian keto meals, this raita is perfect to do the trick.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup bottle gourd, grated
- 1 cup water
- 3 Tbsp flax seeds (ground)
- 1 cup low-fat curd
- 1 1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds (preferred coarsely ground)
- 1/2 cup finely chopped mint leaves
Instructions:
- Put a pan over medium heat to roast cumin and flax seeds. Let these seeds cool down and further grind the roasted seeds in powder form. Keep it aside for a while.
- Take another pan and add grated bottle gourd with 1/2 cup water over medium heat. Let it cook for around 6-7 minutes while letting the water evaporate. After that, leave it to cool down.
- Now take a bog bowl to beat the yogurt until it turns smooth. Now add cumin and flax seed powder in it along with some sugar and salt.
- Add cooked bottle gourd in it and gently stir again while mixing all the ingredients well.
- Keep it in the refrigerator for a while and garnish with raita and coriander leaves. Serve chilled.
